guided. (isaiah 58:11)

There are so many decisions in life and I often find myself overwhelmed, not with the choice itself, but with the fear that if I choose incorrectly, I will somehow fall out of God’s favor. However, I was reminded today (in a sermon by Dr. Rob Rienow) that God’s faithfulness is greater than my faithlessness. His ability to find is greater than my ability to get lost.

I cannot step outside of God’s goodness. It is no wonder he is called the Wonderful Counselor. He guides us in the way we should go, and calms us when life overwhelms us. He lovingly tends to us. He is for us, and not against us.

The Lord will guide you always–giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. Isaiah 58:11
